Vernon William "Bill" Aldridge

Vernon William "Bill" Aldridge (73) of Clarksburg, WV passed away at his residence on Saturday May 20th 2017.
Bill was born March 13th 1944 in New Kensington, PA the son of the late Vernon and Margaret Tyson Aldridge.
He was a route supervisor for AVI Vending of Cleveland, OH He was a US Air Force veteran having served in Vietnam and was honorably discharged. He was a member of the American Legion Post 13 in Clarksburg, WV & the AARP. Bill loved to read books & to watch his big screen TV and was an avid fan of the Cleveland Indians, the Cavaliers, the Browns, & the Dallas Cowboys. Bill was Christian by faith.
He is survived by his loving wife of 24 years Tina Marie Aldridge (Reynolds), two daughters Andrea Stegmaier and husband Bill of Garfield Heights, OH and Lisa Brady of Solon, OH. One son Daniel Aldridge of Cuyahoga Heights, OH. Three step-sons; Richard Willham of Brookpark, OH, Thomas Mankins and wife Robin A. of Lorain, OH, William Michaels and wife Cheryl of Akron, OH. Two step-daughters Lisa Korkowski of McHenry, IL, and Christine Korkowski of Lincolnwood, IL. One brother Robert Aldridge of Arlington, TX. Grandchildren Brittany and Jenna Stegmaier, Samuel and Edward Brady as well as several other grandchildren, nephews and nieces.
Family will receive friends at Dorsey Funeral Home, 701 S. Pike Street, Shinnston, on Thursday, May 25th, 2017 from 2:00-8:00pm and Friday May 26th from 9:00am to time of service at 11:00am with Pastor Brad Blanchard presiding. Interment will follow at the Lumberport Lions Club Cemetery. Military honors will be accorded by the US Air Force and the Harrison County Honor Guard.
