Waunona "Sissy" Jean (Morlock) Crouser

Waunona Jean “Sissy” Crouser (57) of Lower Lamberts Run in Clarksburg, WV passed away on January 29, 2019 at her residence. Waunona was born on September 4, 1961 in Chicago, IL the daughter of Elizabeth (Bess) Morlock of Meadowbrook, WV and the late Joel Robert Morlock Sr.

Waunona was a loving wife, mother and grandmother. She was a homemaker that loved to cook, sew, crafting, going deep sea fishing and camping, singing goofy songs and spending time with her family especially her grandchildren.

In addition to her father Waunona was preceded in death by her first husband Steven Messinger, her grandson Devlin Riley and her mother’s companion Ronald Harris.

Those left behind to cherish Waunona’s memory include her husband Donald Lee Crouser, her three daughters: Tanya Wright and husband William, Nickole Hope Riley both of Lower Lamberts Run, Clarksburg, WV, and Katrina Messinger and companion Matheu Bianco of Sardis, WV, her son Steven Coty Messinger of Morgantown, WV, her thirteen grandchildren, her two sisters: Rebecca Morlock and companion Pat Holbert of Meadowbrook, WV,  and Anita Eagleson and companion Juno Robinette of Morgantown, WV, her two brothers: Joel Morlock Jr. of Meadowbrook, WV and James Morlock and wife Jeanetta of Spelter, WV

The family will receive friends at Dorsey Funeral Home, 701 South Pike St., Shinnston, WV 26431, on Friday, February 1, 2019 from 11:00am until the time of service at 1:00pm with Reverend Rita Robinson officiating Interment will follow at Shinnston Memorial Cemetery.
