Tricia Ann Long, 51, of Gypsy, WV, passed away peacefully on Monday, July 7, 2025, at United Hospital Center, surrounded by her loved ones.
Born on February 14, 1974, in Fairmont, WV, she was the daughter of the late John Joseph Volek and Patricia Ann Yelich Ferell.
Tricia had a deep love for the outdoors, especially fishing, and cherished the time spent with her children and grandchildren. She also enjoyed walking, watching TV especially Dog the Bounty Hunter, and was always ready to lend a helping hand to others.
She is survived by her children, Shelley Long and her companion Michael Riffle of Gypsy, and son John Long and his wife Lana of Rivesville; a brother, Rick Volek and his wife Tracey of Kingmont; and six beloved grandchildren: Nevaeh, John, Kozzar, Austin, Theodore, and Michael Riffle Jr. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews and cousins.
In addition to her parents, Tricia is preceded in death by her husband, Wan Obron Long.
