Timothy "Timmy" Ray Skidmore

Timothy “Timmy” Ray Skidmore, 32, of Los Angeles, CA, formerly of Lumberport, WV, passed away on April 13, 2021 at Providence Saint Joseph Medical Center. He was born July 12, 1988 in Clarksburg. Timmy is survived by his parents, Robert and Jeanette Skidmore of Cambria, WV.  Three brothers: Robert Skidmore Jr. and fiancé Rebecca of Shinnston, WV, Ryan Skidmore and fiancé Rebecca of Lumberport, WV and Brad Skidmore of Cambria, WV.  His baby sister, Shannon Ayers and husband David of Shinnston, WV.  Also surviving Timmy are several nieces and nephews.  Timmy was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, William and Pauline Skidmore, maternal grandparents, Dale and Zana Marie Adams as well as several aunts, uncles and cousins.  Timmy loved his beautiful life in California.  He loved long walks at night along the boardwalk.  Timmy was a loving and caring person.  He had a big heart and would help anyone in need.  Family will receive friends at Dorsey Funeral Home, 701 South Pike Street, Shinnston, WV 26431, on Thursday, April 29, 2021 from 11:00am to 1:00pm at the time of service with Pastor Tim Sandy officiating.  Interment will follow at Enterprise I.O.O.F.
