Timothy Wayne Swiger, 55, of Shinnston, WV, passed away on Wednesday, October 6, 2021 at United Hospital Center in Bridgeport, WV. Timothy was born July 14, 1966 in Fairmont, WV, the son of Paul Zane Swiger and the late Marian Andrea (Pigott) Swiger.
Timothy was a truck driver for West Virginia State Roads, Gore, WV. He enjoyed hunting and fishing with his son Patrick. He was retired from the Shinnston Fire Department as well as Clay Eagle EMS. Timothy proudly served in the United States Army National Guard.
In addition to his father, Timothy is survived by his stepmother, Judy Swiger of Enterprise, WV; two sons: Patrick Swiger of Shinnston, WV and Timothy Paul Swiger of Indiana; one daughter: Carrissa Swiger of Indiana; one stepdaughter: Amber Hall of Mt. Clare, WV; one stepson: Donnie Hall of Meadowbrook, WV; three brothers: Todd Swiger, Thomas Swiger and Scott Sargent all of Enterprise, WV; two sisters: Tammy Delovio and Makana of Hawaii and Tara Riffle and Charles of Meadowbrook, WV; companion, Betty Swiger of Shinnston, WV; as well as several nieces and nephews.
In addition to his mother, Timothy was preceded in death his paternal grandparents; Harley and Pauline Swiger and maternal grandparents; Glenn and Thelma Pigott.
Per Timothy’s wishes, cremation services will be provided.
Graveside service will be held on Friday, October 22, 2021 at 11:00am at Enterprise I.O.O.F. Cemetery in Enterprise, WV. Military Honors will be provided by the US Army and Harrison County National Guard.
