Thomas Rocco Romeo

Thomas Rocco Romeo, 87, of Shinnston, passed away on May 24, 2026 at Ruby Memorial Hospital.  He was born in Kellytown on October 25, 1938 to the late Frank Anthony Romeo and Vera Louise (Holmes) Romeo.

Thomas was a retired trainer for InfoCision.  He loved to golf, go fishing, play cards and spend time with his family.  He proudly served in the United States Navy. 

He is survived by his wife, together 40 years, Ethel Louise (Huey) Romeo of Shinnston; one daughter, Betsy Mia Hayes and husband Greg of Worthington; four sons:  Rocco Romeo and wife Andra of Hepzibah, Doug Romeo and wife Glenda of Ohio, Tim Nicholson and wife Jennifer of Worthington and T.J. Nicholson and companion Samantha Mezzanote of Monongah as well as several grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, Thomas is preceded in death by two sons:  Frank Thomas Romeo and Chuckie L. Nicholson.

Family and friends will be received at Dorsey Funeral Home, 701 S. Pike St., Shinnston, on Monday, June 1, 2026 from 2:00PM until 8:00PM for visitation and on Tuesday, June 2, 2026 from 9:00AM until time of service, 11:00AM with Pastor Robert Shingleton officiating.  Interment to Shinnston Memorial Cemetery. Military honors will be provided by the Unites States Navy and Harrison County Honor Guard.
