Thomas Vincent Irr

Thomas Vincent Irr, of Salem, passed away on Saturday, June 8, 2013 at his residence in his 54th year. He was born August 9, 1958 in Woburn, MA; son of Joseph Louis and Kathleen F. Kane Irr of Fredericksburg, VA. Thomas is survived by his loving wife of 30 years, Bernadette Zani Irr; four children; Joseph L Irr (Jennifer) of Glen Bernie, MD, Angel MacMicking (Jeremy) of Virginia Beach, VA, Bernadette Kathleen Irr of Center Point, Michael J Irr of Lynchburg, VA; three grandchildren; Alisha Tippins, Sophia Dawn Irr, Vincent Louis Irr; two siblings; Joseph Irr (Brenda) of Stafford, VA, Kathleen McLaughlin (Mike) of King George, VA; several nieces and nephews. Thomas lived in Massachusetts for twenty five years, Virginia for twenty five years and then moved to West Virginia; he was self-employed in the private communication sector. Thomas was a loving father, avid griller, loved to entertain, enjoyed working on his house and raising animals. Friends will be received on Friday June 14, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Salem, from 4:00-8:00PM; prayer vigil will be held at 7:30PM. Catholic mass will be held Saturday June 15, at 11:00AM at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Salem; with Father Alfred Obiudu as celebrant.
