Taylor David Barr

Mr. Taylor David Barr, age 78 of Bridgeport, WV passed away at his home on Thursday, September 12, 2013. Mr. Barr was born on June 5, 1935 in Bridgeport the only child to the late Homer Ellsworth and Gertrude Mae Taylor Barr. He was retir.ed with 31 years of service from Consolidated Natural Gas, served his country in the National Guard, loved to spend time with his children and grandchildren, hunt, and was an avid WVU fan. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his wife, Susan Ann Holt Barr. He is survived by his 3 children, Douglas David Barr and partner Roger K. Myers of Morgantown, WV, Julie Ann and Ross S. Hudson, of Martinsburg, WV, and Brian Taylor Barr of Oldsmar, FL; grandchildren, Wednesday Radke and Tabitha Radke, both of Oldsmar, FL, Ian Taylor Hudson, of Martinsburg, WV, Lillian Rebecca Sue Barr and Josie LeeAnn Barr, both of Oldsmar, FL; and fiancé Cheryl Cox, of Bridgeport. A private family memorial service will be held on Wednesday, September 18, 2013 at 1:00pm from the Chapel of Davis Funeral Home with Rev. Richard Settles, officiating. Inurnment will follow at the Bridgeport Cemetery. Davis Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements and honored to serve the Barr family.
