Tawni Jane Uhl

Tawni Jane Uhl, 57, of Bruceton Mills, passed away at Allegheny General Hospital on December 21, 2018.  She was born in Fairmont on November 18, 1961, the daughter of Frances Darlena (Arnett)Davis of Latrobe, PA and the late Allen Roy Davis, Sr.

Tawni worked at DynCorp Squadron UX-20 in material control as a Navy contractor at the Patuxent Naval Air Station and for a fleet test faculty in maintaining P-3’s, C-130’s, E-2’s and T-34 Aircrafts.  She also loved spending time with her family, grandchildren and shopping.

In addition to her father Tawni was preceded in death by her husband of more than 30 years, Steve Uhl; a granddaughter, Starla Jones; one sister, Diane Davis and one brother, Allen Davis, Jr.

Those left behind to cherish Tawni’s memory are her son, Steven Uhl of Lexington Park, Maryland; two daughters, Katrina Mackall and her husband Darrell and Angel Uhl, all of Lexington Park, Maryland; one brother, Tim Davis and his wife April of Grafton; two sisters, Ginger Moore and her husband Jeffrey of Hazelton and Carrina Davis and her companion of Virginia; one sister-in-law, Janet Taylor and her husband Charles; one brother-in-law, Donald Uhl; one grandson, Niko Jones Jr.; three granddaughters, Cierra, Georgia and Trinati Mackall and several nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends at Dorsey Funeral Home 701 South Pike St., Shinnston, WV 26431, on Thursday, December 27, 2018, from 2:00pm-8:00pm. Funeral Services will be held in Dorsey Funeral Home on Friday, December 28, 2018, at 11:00am. Interment will be at St. Paul Reformed Cemetery Mt. Pleasant Township, PA.
