Sylvia Bell Baker

Sylvia Bell Baker of Meadowbrook, WV passed away July 23, 2020 at United Hospital Center. Sylvia was born at Lamberts Run, on December 10, 1928 to the late Cecil Reed and Oma Blanche Layfield Reed.

Sylvia is survived by three sons; Emles Baker of Meadowbrook, Charlie Baker of West  Virginia, Kenneth Baker; wife Connie of Florida, one daughter Mary Ann Groves; husband Russell of Florida, one sister Lydia Burrough; husband Kenneth of Jane Lew and several grandchildren, great – grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

Sylvia is preceded in death by both of her parents, one daughter Alta Clark and six sisters Dora Lee Riffle, Beryl Reed, Evelyn Gillis, Goldie Riffle, Mary Gowans, Nancy Moore and one brother Chuck Reed.

In accordance with Sylvia’s wishes a private graveside service was held on July 27, 2020 at Shinnston Memorial Cemetery.
