Sylvania Virginia “Buttons” Tresize, 60, of Meadowbrook, passed away on Friday, February 26, 2021 at Genesis Healthcare Salem Center in Salem, WV. She was born on December 13, 1960 in Clarksburg, the daughter of the late Lester Franklin and Virginia Barker Tresize.
Sylvania graduated high school and held numerous jobs throughout her career. She loved dogs and owned several different dogs throughout the years.
Sylvania is survived by one son, Paul Pumphrey, Jr and wife, Kristi, Meadowbrook, three brothers, Lester Tresize, Jr, Haywood, Harry Tresize and wife Heather, Haywood, and Doug Tresize and wife Ashley, Lumberport; one step grandson, Alex; one step sister, Penny Hilverding and husband Jeff, West Union, several nieces and nephews; and loving friend, Darla Martin, Shinnston.
In addition to her parents, Sylvania was preceded in death by one son, Eric Pumphrey and one brother, Chester Tresize.
The family would like to extend a special thank you to Stacey, Jill, and Claire of Amedysis Hospice for their exceptional care of Sylvania in her final days. They would also like to thank ss to her dear friend Angie of the Genesis Healthcare Salem Center.
