Steven Paul Law

Steven Paul Law (69) of Shinnston, WV passed away August 28, 2018 at the VA Medical Center Hospital in Pittsburgh, PA, He was born October 29, 1948 in Osaka, Japan the son of John Law and the late Eva Mae (Nolan) Davis.

Steven was a graduate of Parkersburg High School class of 1966. He was a proud Veteran of the United States Navy and served our country during the Vietnam Era.

In addition to his mother he was preceded in death by his step-mother Rita (Campbell) Law, one sister Marsha Campbell and his paternal & maternal grandparents.

Those left behind to cherish his memory include; his father John Law, two daughters Cathy Blackwell and husband Gary and Ginger Law all of Parkersburg, WV, his son Steven Law II and wife Cassie of Shinnston, WV, two sisters, Kem Stewart and husband Rick of Parkersburg, WV and Terry Sousan and husband Tony of, MO, his brother Terry Campbell and wife Sherry of OH, ten grandchildren: Eddie, Amber, Joshua, Whitley, Chase, Kirsten, Iziah, Kadince, Cory and Kiley, eight great-grandchildren, several nieces and nephews, cousins and friends.

In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the Semper Fi Fund or any Veterans charity of your choice.

 The family will receive friends at Dorsey Funeral Home, 701 South Pike St., Shinnston, WV 26431, on Friday, August 31, 2018 from 11:00am till 1:00pm time of funeral service at 1:00pm with Pastor Craig Blankenship officiating.  Interment will be at WV National Cemetery, Grafton, WV with full Military Honors accorded by the Harrison County Honor Guard and the United States Navy.
