Shirley Ann Williams Lindsey, 77, of Clarksburg, formerly of Enterprise, passed away peacefully on Monday, May 12, 2025 at Ruby Memorial Hospital with her lifetime friend, Larry Walls, by her side. She was born on June 18, 1947 in Fairmont, WV the daughter of the late Raymond Williams and Minnie Griffin Delo.
Shirley graduated from Monongah High School and she worked at St. Barbara’s Nursing home as a laundry technician.
Shirley is survived by her daughter, Crystal Lindsey-Adkins and husband Michael of Rivesville; stepson, Melvin Lindsey and wife Janet of Worthington; stepdaughter, Elizabeth Livingston and husband Michael of Enterprise; one granddaughter, Rachelle Livingston; four grandsons: Justin Adkins and wife Anna, Michael Lindsey, Matthew Lindsey, and James Exline; one sister, Brenda Fast of Monongah; several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, Shirley is preceded in death by her husband, Roy Burton Lindsay; one sister, Debra Martin; one brother, Charles Russell Williams.
Graveside services will be held on Saturday, May 17, 2025 at 1:00pm at Wyatt Cemetery with Minister Melvin Lindsey officiating.
