Shirley Jean Chrislip

Shirley Jean Chrislip, 44, of Enterprise, passed away at her residence on Thursday, April 14, 2022.  She was born in Fairmont on January 3, 1978, daughter of the late Lonnie Ray Chrislip and Carolyn Jean Hamrick Chrislip.

Shirley previously worked for Genesis as a CNA as well as being a stay at home mother for the past few years.  She enjoyed spending time with her children, thrifting, crafting and gardening.

She is survived by her daughter, Makenna Chrislip of Enterprise; son, Larry “Trey” Tichenor, III and fiancée Jasmine Flowers of Enterprise; two sisters:  Rhonda Lynn Chrislip of Clarksburg and Melissa Dawn McIntyre of Shinnston; one brother, Lonnie R. “Butch” Chrislip and wife Vicki of Idamay; as well as many more nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Jamie Todd Chrislip and one niece, Tara Toll.

Her daughter, Kenna, enjoyed dancing and singing in the car with her Mom.  Especially “Jesus Take the Wheel.”  Going shopping together all of the time, going to and having friends over for cookouts and nights at home just watching movies.

Special notes from her children:

Momma, our bond was like no other.  I will never forget all the fun times we had or how special I was to you.  I miss you so much.  I’ll always be your baby.

In keeping with Shirley’s wishes, she will be cremated with no services at this time.
