Shannan Elizabeth (Smith) Stanley

Shannan Elizabeth Stanley, 54, of Enterprise, passed away peacefully at her residence on April 1, 2025.  She was born in Clarksburg on January 15, 1971 to Charles Smith and the late Patricia (Simmons) Smith.

Shannan was a loving mother, grandmother and a great friend.  She found joy in the simple things.  She enjoyed gardening, shopping and spending time with her family and friends.  She was known for her caring nature, especially when it came to her many beloved pets.  Shannan’s love for others and her warm spirit will be deeply missed by all who knew her.

Shannan is survived by her father, Charles Smith; one brother, Charles Smith Jr.; daughters:  Taylor Liggett and companion Josh Wright of Fairmont ; one son, John Lewis of Fairmont; one granddaughter, Emma Wright and her companion, Todd Swiger of Enterprise.

In keeping with Shannan’s wishes, she will be cremated.
