Rose Theresa Tannehill

Rose Theresa Tannehill (90) of Shinnston, WV passed away on June 12, 2018 at Ruby Memorial Hospital in Morgantown, WV. She was born on October 31, 1927 in Carolina, WV the daughter of the late Samuel and Hazel (Smith) Arcuri.

Rose was a loving wife, mother and grandmother.  She loved to go fishing & yard sale treasure-hunting. She also loved cooking & baking, sewing & quilting, tending her flower gardens and spending time with her family.

In addition to her parents Rose was preceded in death by her first husband Charles William Moore, two sons: Timothy Lee Moore and Gary Lynn Moore, four brothers: Tony, Frank, Joey and John Arcuri, one sister Catherine Hayes, granddaughter Renee Kellar and grandson Tony Moore.

Those Rose leaves behind to cherish her memory include: Her loving husband of 42 years Robert Glenn Tannehill, three sons: Charles Moore and wife Delores of Fairmont, WV, James Moore and wife Helen of Fairview, WV, Jeffrey Moore and wife Ginger of Hazelton, WV, four daughters: Rose Ann Kellar of Bridgeport, WV, Dee Wallo and husband Paul of Shinnston, WV, Lisa Bartlett and husband Greg of Bridgeport, WV, Roberta Casto and husband Barney of Shinnston, WV, one brother Sam Arcuri of Warren, OH, two sisters: Rose Mary Martin and husband Brooks of OH, Lucille Knull of Belpre, OH, her grandchildren: Melissa Moore-Albert, Michael Moore, J.R. Kellar, Deborah Tennant, Wade Kellar, Randy Ford, Carlina Mercer, Kevin Ford, Misty Cleavenger, Tonya Hubbart, Kim Hardesty-Nine, Regina Cheslock, Patty Sampson, Jenny Sampson, Jeffrey “JJ” Moore, Jessica Jones, Tricia Moore, Tiffany Skinner, Ashley Zehner, Austin Casto, Audrey Casto, and several great & great-great grandchildren, nephews and nieces.

 The family will receive friends at Dorsey Funeral Home, 701 South Pike St., Shinnston, WV 26431, on Sunday, June 17, 2018 from 2:00pm - 8:00pm. A funeral service will be held at the funeral home on Monday June 18, 2018 at 11:00am with Pastor Jeff Dytzel officiating. Interment will be at WV National Cemetery, Grafton, WV.
