Roberta Blankenship Obituary

Roberta Leona Blankenship, 56, of Salem, passed away at River Oaks Nursing Home in Clarksburg on Tuesday, January 26, 2021. She was born in Salem, on June 10, 1964, the daughter of the late Rolland Glen and Grace June McGarry Moore.

Roberta is survived by three sons, Shawn A. Moore, Shinnston, Gerald Bowen, Lumberport, and Clifford L. Turner and wife Joanna, Gypsy; one daughter, Destiny N. Turner, Fairmont; five grandchildren; one sister, Patricia Lattea, Salem; one brother, Rolland Moore, Moundsville; and one nephew, Kevin Lattea, Salem.

In addition to her parents, Roberta was preceded in death by one sister, Sandra Greathouse.

As per Roberta’s wishes, she will be cremated, with a Celebration of Life being held at a later date. Dorsey Funeral Home, 701 South Pike Street, Shinnston, WV 26431, assisted the Blankenship family with the cremation arrangements.
