Robert "Katt" Keith Rush

Robert Keith “Katt” Rush, 64, of Fairmont, passed away on March 11, 2022 at United Hospital Center. He was born in Fairmont on October 3, 1957 to the late Charles Gene Rush, Sr. and Goldie May (Willie) Rush.

Robert was employed as a safety manager for Asplundh and JAFLO.  He proudly served in the United States Navy. 

Katt never met a stranger and was well loved by many.

In addition to his parents, Robert is also preceded in death by one brother, Charles Gene Rush, Jr. and three nephews:  Brent Carpenter, John Lawrence Marra, Jr., and Jack R. Antill.

Robert is survived by one daughter, Kassandra “Kassy” Rush and fiancé Austin Richards of Fairmont; one stepson, Shawn Keener, Sr. and wife Miss Heather of Cocoa, FL; one brother, David Rush of Fairmont; two sisters:  Barbara Carpenter of Monongah and Nancy Antill and husband Jack of OH; two grandsons:  Jordan Wayne and wife Krishna Bura of Austin, TX and Shawn Keener, Jr. of Cocoa, FL; one granddaughter, Brianna Johnson and husband Bryant of Mantua, OH; one great grandson, Cayson Johnson; three nieces:  Frankie Wilson of Fairmont, Jessica Antill Sower of OH, and Katy Rush of CA; three nephews:  Casey Carpenter and Robert Marra both of Fairmont and Robert Allen Rush of CA; three great nieces, Abigail Carpenter of Fairmont, Ella Llesis and Drew Antill Leasure of OH; two great nephews: Brent Andrew Carpenter of Fairmont and Owen Grant Marra of Fairmont; one sister in law, Denise Patterson of Ventura, CA; as well as several other nieces and nephews.  Also surviving Katt is Shirley Keener, his significant other, of Fairmont.

In keeping with Robert’s wishes, cremation services were provided.
