Robert Melton Mussey

Robert Melton Mussey, 76, of Wallace, passed away on October 29, 2024 at United Hospital Center.  He was born on February 13, 1948 in Richmond, VA to the late Robert Milton and Estelle Mussey.

He worked for Bell Atlantic (now Frontier) in installation.

Robert is survived by his wife, Tracey (Carpenter) Mussey of Wallace; one daughter, Jodi Geiger of VA; three sons:  Robert Frate and wife Nancy of VA, Eric Frate and wife Luzme of VA and David Frate and wife Wendy of NC; two stepdaughters:  Kim Cox and husband Todd of PA and Nicholle Carpenter Garcia of VA; one stepson, Jack Sexton of VA; fourteen grandchildren; seven great grandchildren and four nephews.

In addition to his parents, Robert is preceded in death by one brother and one sister.

In keeping with his wishes, Robert will be cremated with no services.
