Richard Murray Obituary

Richard W. Murray, 84 of Shinnston passed away on Monday, April 20, 2020 at Madison Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, Morgantown, WV. He was born on June 1, 1935 in Shinnston, son of the late Archie and Beatrice Boggess Murray.

Richard graduated Shinnston High School in 1955. He served his country in the United States Army. He worked and retired from Consol Energy as a Maintenance Forman. His hobbies were photography, fishing, and hunting. Richard was a member of the St. John Masonic Lodge #24 AF&AM.

He is survived by one daughter, Rebecca Wilschutz and husband Thomas, New Hope, PA and siblings, Patty Thompson and Harold Murray.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one daughter, Melissa Murray and siblings, Jack Murray and Janet Murray.
