Mildred Irene (Allen) Leasure

Mildred Irene Leasure, 79, of Lumberport, passed away on Friday, December 1, 2023 at Maplewood Healthcare Center in Bridgeport.  She was born in Clarksburg on March 18, 1944 to the late Fred Allen and Rachael Irene (Lemasters) Allen.

Mildred was a member of All Faiths Church in Hepzibah.  She enjoyed gardening, cooking and her dogs.

She is survived by one daughter, Twyla Miller of Bridgeport; three sons:  Bobby Gene Miller, Jr. and wife Norma Jean of Brown, Brian Douglas Miller of Green County, MD and Troy Leon Miller and companion of Wallace; one granddaughter, Stacy Barker of Shinnston; one grandson, Robert Barker and wife Sherri of Dola; one great granddaughter, Makira Knotts; two great grandson, Quintin Collier and Haydn Barker; first husband, Bobby Gene Miller as well as many more grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, Mildred is preceded in death by her second husband, Don Lee Leasure; two brothers: Gene Allen and Larry Allen; three sisters:  Maryann Arnett, Karen Sue Rinehart and Doris Jean Allen.

Family and friends will be received at Dorsey Funeral Home, 701 S. Pike St., Shinnston, on Monday, December 4, 2023 from 2:00pm until 8:00pm for visitation.  Funeral service will be Tuesday, December 5, 2023 at 11:00am with Pastor Delores White officiating.  Interment will follow to Brown Cemetery.
