Marilyn Rae (Bock) Slusser

Marilyn Rae Slusser, 74, of Shinnston, WV, passed away on November 11, 2021 at Bridgeport Healthcare Center, Bridgeport, WV.  She was born July 6, 1947 in Clarksburg, WV to the late Raymond and Mary Elizabeth Hudkins Bock. 

Marilyn graduated from Shinnston High School, where she was a drum major for the band.  She then graduated from Fairmont State College with a degree in accounting.  She spend her life’s work in banking for Wesbanco.

Marilyn is survived by one son, Raymond Todd Riley of Shinnston; one stepdaughter, Kristi Riley Parrish of Shinnston; two step grandchildren, Gabbie and Eli Parrish; one brother in law, Jim Riley and wife Brenda of Nutter Fort; as well as many cousins who grew up with her as siblings.  She also had several beloved pets over the span of her life.

In addition to her parents, Marilyn was preceded in death by her husband, David Riley.

There was no viewing or visitation.

Entombment will be at Shinnston Memorial Cemetery.
