Margaret J. Trunick

Clarksburg- Margaret J. Trunick, age 86, passed away on Wednesday, July 17, 2013. She was born in Summit Park on January 21, 1927 a daughter of the late John and Catherine Nemes. Margaret is survived by 2 daughters, Jamie Trunick and Melissa Rhoades and son in law Doug Rhoades. She is also survived by 2 grandchildren, Ryan Goldsmith and Kelcie Little and husband Adrian Little. Also surviving are 3 great grandchildren, Henry Michael Goldsmith, Kaden Scott Little and Destini Grace Little. Also surviving are one sister, Helen Soltis, and a daughter in law, Margie Trunick, along with many nieces and nephews. Margaret was preceded in death, by her husband, Henry C. Trunick in 2004. Also preceeding her in death were her stepson, Danny Trunick, 6 sisters, Anna, Katy, Elizabeth, Mary, Rose and Julie, and 5 brothers, John, Leslie, George, Joe and Jimmy. Margaret loved to go for long walks and everyone who knew her, knew just how much she did so. She was an avid bowler and won many trophies during her bowling league days. She was also a wonderful gardener, and had beautiful flowers in her yard throughout her entire life. She worked word search puzzles and could play harmonica by ear. She was a former employee of Akro Agate Marble Factory and also worked for 15 years at the Hazel Atlas Glass Plant. She graduated in 1945 from Victory High School. She attended Duff Street United Methodist Church for many years and was also a member of the Harrrison County Senior Citizens. At her request, there will be no visitation or services.
