Linda Lou (Skidmore) Wilson

Linda Lou Wilson, 69, of Salem, passed away on April 10, 2026 at United Hospital Center.  She was born in Clarksburg on April 1, 1957 to the late William Skidmore and Pauline (Swiger) Skidmore.

Linda enjoyed crocheting and making bracelets.  She loved playing bingo and winning.

Linda is survived by one son, Jamie Wilson and wife Danielle of Four States; two brothers:  Robert Skidmore and wife Jeanette of Lumberport and Anthony Skidmore and wife Barbara of Meadowbrook; two sisters:  Corbie Lockett and husband Michael of Haywood and Delphia Hammond of Clarksburg; one half-brother, Norman Swiger and wife Diane of Meadowbrook; two grandsons:  Alex Wilson and Mason Wilson; one granddaughter, Elayna Wilson; cousin, Shirley Ann Griffin of Clarksburg and nephew Brandon Bunnell; as well as many more nieces, nephews and cousins.

In addition to her parents, Linda is preceded in death by one son, Jerry Wilson; two sisters:  Peggy Landis and Becky Bunnell; two brothers:  Dorsey Skidmore and Danny Skidmore and her previous husband of many years, John Wilson.

Family and friends will be received at Dorsey Funeral Home, 701 S. Pike St., Shinnston, on Monday, April 13, 2026 from 11:00AM until time of service 1:00PM with Pastor Delores White officiating.  Interment to Floral Hills Memorial Gardens.
