Julia Ann (Robinson) Metz

Julia Ann (Robinson) Metz, 60, of Bristol, WV, passed away on Wednesday, September 29, 2021 at United Hospital Center in Bridgeport, WV.  She was born in Clarksburg, WV on February 14, 1961, daughter of Warren Robinson, of Lumberport, WV and the late, Hilda Joan (Sullivan) Robinson.

Julia was a teacher and librarian for the Wood and Jefferson County areas of WV.  She enjoyed music.  Time spent fishing, gardening and playing golf.  Julia was a loving wife, mother and grandmother.

In addition to her father, Julia is survived by her husband, James Metz.  Her three children:  Brooke Metz of Salem, WV, Tyler Metz of Martinsburg, WV, and Travis Metz (Hannah) of Lake Floyd, WV; sister, Patty Campbell (Timothy) of Bristol, WV; brother, Kevin Robinson (Charlotte) of Maulsby Cove, WV; one grandson, Sawyer Metz.  

Family will receive friends on Friday, October 1, 2021 from 4pm-8pm at Dorsey Funeral Home, 701 S. Pike St., Shinnston, WV.  Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, October 2, 2021 at 11am with Pastor Eric Miker officiating.  Interment to follow at Lumberport Lions Club Cemetery in Lumberport, WV.
