Josephine (Zecco) Gregory

Josephine Gregory, 80, of Shinnston passed away on July 3, 2019 at UHC in Bridgeport, WV. She was born in Clarksburg on December 27, 1938, the daughter of the late James and Frances (Biano) Zecco.

Josephine worked at Westinghouse, was a homemaker and enjoyed talking with family and friends. She loved canning, baking, cooking and making peanut butter fudge.  

In addition to her parents, Josephine was preceded in death by her husband of more than forty years, Richard Lynn Gregory; three sisters, Rose Shawhan, Clara Lombardo and Norma Hagar; and her six brothers, Frank, Joe, James, Pat, Ralph and Sam Zecco.

Those left behind to cherish Josephine’s memory include her daughter, Beth Ann StClair of Shinnston; two sisters, Helen Toothman and her husband, George of Shinnston and Mary Boggess of Butte, Montana; and several nieces and nephews.

Per Josephine’s request, she will be cremated with no services at this time.
