Jimmie E Strickland

Mr. Jimmie E. Strickland, age 87, of W. Pike St., Clarksburg, died on Saturday, May 11, 2013 at the United Hospital Center. Mr. Strickland was born on April 1, 1926. He was a US Navy Veteran where he served during WWII, worked as a chemical engineer at Harbison Walker in Caveman, NJ for over 33 years, then moved to West Virginia to retire here, member of the Kiwanis, loved the outdoors and enjoyed gardening with his wife of 32 years, and was member of the Church of Nazarene. Mr. Strickland is survived by, Wife, Bessie C. Perea Strickland, of the home; 10 Children; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren also survive. He was preceded in death by two sons.
