Jerry Lee Sypolt

Jerry Lee Sypolt, 61 of Kingwood, passed away Tuesday, May 28, 2013 at Preston Memorial Hospital with family by his side. He was born May 19, 1952 in Kingwood, son of the late Charles Edward Sypolt and Zeda Ellen Greathouse. Jerry served in the US Marine Corps. He loved hunting, fishing, camping, riding his 4-wheeler and the outdoors. Surviving are three children, Tammy Jefferys and companion Chris Stevens, Jerry E Sypolt and Justin R Sypolt all of Kingwood; three grandchildren, Zane and Brianna Jefferys and Joel Foreman; one half- brother, Don Sypolt, Grafton, one half-sister, Tina Sypolt, Kingwood; and several nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, Jerry is preceded in death by two brothers, Frances Halbritter and Charles Delbert Sypolt. Family and friends will be received at the Bolyard Funeral Home, 79 Morgantown St. Newburg, WV, Thursday, May 30, 2013 from 5-8 pm and Friday May 31, 2013 from 9am until service at 11:30 am. Interment will follow at the West Virginia National Cemetery, Grafton. Military graveside services will be accorded by the VFW Memorial City Post #3081, the American Legion Taylor County Post #12, and the D.A.V. Chapter 24, their auxiliaries.
