General Hatten, age 77, of Simpson, passed away, Sunday, July 14, 2013, at Grafton City Hospital. He was born August 15, 1935, a son of the late Roy Lee Hatten and Edna (Williams) Hatten.
Mr. Hatton was retired having worked as a manager for Coney Island in Kenova, WV. He enjoyed spending time with his family and friends.
Surviving is one sister, Charlotte Merritt, of Grafton, and many nieces and nephews, and great nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by three sisters, Effie Oliver, Betty Halley, and Ruth Boross, and six brothers, Ray Hatten, Ike Hatton, Bobby Hatten, Harry Hatten, Roy Lee Hatten, and Jack Hatten.
Friends may call at Bartlett Funeral Home, 202 McGraw Ave., on Tuesday from 9AM until the funeral hour. Funeral services will be conducted at 12 noon, Tuesday, July 16, 2013, at the funeral home. Pastors Dave Harris and Tina Cartwright officiating.
Interment will follow at the Flemington IOOF Cemetery.
