Dianna Grace Anderson

Dianna Grace Anderson, 79, of Monongah, passed away on Sunday, December 18, 2022 at St. Barbara’s Memorial Nursing Home.  She was born in Wyatt on January 22, 1943 to the late Clark Anderson and the late Emma Pearl (Hoy) Anderson.

Dianna cared for her elderly parents.  She worked as a cook at St. Barbara’s Memorial Nursing Home from 1974-1984 and then was office manager for Joe DeFazio Oil Company from 1984-2021.

She is survived by one sister, Helen Holbert Fleming of Bridgeport; 23 nieces and nephews; 34 great nieces and nephews and several great-great nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, Dianna is preceded in death by one brother, Clark Anderson, Jr.; seven sisters:  Edith Linnabary, Clara Campton, Margaret Prahl, Mary Russell, Genevieve Tennant, Ruth DeFazio and Gladys Harvey and three nephews:  Phillip Holbert, Gerald Holbert and Ronald Campton.

Dianna was a great cook and baker.  She was an active member of Enterprise United Methodist Church where she served as Secretary of the Church.  She helped in making Apple Butter and Easter Eggs and with many fundraisers.  She loved spending time with her family and Dianna dearly LOVED the babies!

In keeping with Dianna’s wishes she will be cremated. 

A Celebration of Life service will be held on Saturday, January 21, 2023 at The Enterprise Methodist Church from 10:00am until the time of service, 11:30am with Pastor Gary Reed, Pastor Brian Plum and Pastor Craig Blankenship officiating.  Inurnment at Shinnston Memorial Cemetery.
