Deloris "Jean" Carr

Deloris “Jean” Carr 73 of Lumberport passed away Sunday, October 4, 2020 at United Hospital Center in Bridgeport. Deloris was born July 1st 1947 in Clarksburg, WV, the daughter of the late Arthur Paul Robey and Sara Adaline Baker Robey.

Deloris was a member at the Tenmile Baptist Church and retired from Louis A. Johnson Medical Center as a Medical Supply Technician/ LPN.

Deloris is survived by her husband of 54 years Rodney Carr,  two daughters Lecia (Mark) Coleman and Kim (James “Fred”) Hawkins both of Lumberport, two grandsons Matthew (Samantha) Coleman of Lumberport, and Zach (Vicki) Hawkins of Shinnston, one granddaughter Chelsea (Aaron) Cochran of Bridgeport, and three great grandchildren Jacob Hawkins, Maggie Hawkins and Raylan Coleman and one sister Brenda Hamilton .

Family will receive friends at Dorsey Funeral Home 701 South Pike Street, Shinnston, WV 26431 Wednesday October 7, 2020 from 2-8pm, a graveside service will be held Thursday, October 8, 2020 at 11am at the Lumberport Lions Club Cemetery with Pastor Jeff Perine officiating.
