Deloris Ann Ancell

Deloris Ann Ancell, 83, of Lumberport, passed away on March 12, 2024 at her residence.  She was born in Morgantown on November 27, 1940 to the late Rex Clifford Ancell and Bessie Viola (Eaglen) Ancell.

She enjoyed gardening, loved her chickens and QVC. Most of all, Deloris loved spending time with her family.

She is survived by two sons:  Thomas R. Jacobs and wife Janet of Boothsville and Donald E. Jacobs, Jr. of West Salem, OH; one daughter, Misty Ray and husband Clyde of IN; two sisters:  Jacqueline Stout and husband Doug of Richmond, VA and Carol Glover of NC; as well as grandchildren, great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, Deloris is preceded in death by three brothers:  Ralph, David and Charles Ancell; one sister, Glendine Stire; one brother in law, Bill Glover and one sister in law, Ruth Ancell.

Graveside service will be held on Monday, March 18, 2024 at Lumberport Lions Club Cemetery at 11:00am with Pastor Delores White officiating.
