Daniel Howard Cunningham

Daniel Howard Cunningham (62) of Pomeroy, OH passed away at his residence on April 12, 2018. He was the born July 6, 1955 in Fairmont, WV the son of the late Howard Murl and Doris Gregory Cunningham.

Daniel worked as a painter. He refereed for Little League Baseball and Jerry West Basketball. He loved to go fishing and spending time with his family.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his step-father William Wright and five sisters: Patty Wright Frederickson, Diania Holcomb, Darlene Shaw, Judy Moore and Donna Mackey.

Those left behind to cherish his memory include his companion Nancy Winkler, three sons: Danny Cunningham and wife Teresa of Gypsy, WV, Chad Cunningham of Shinnston, WV and Joshua Cunningham of Lumberport, WV, three grandchildren: Sierra Cunningham, Destiny Cunningham and Aidan Cunningham, his brother William “Bill” Wright and wife Barb of Enterprise, WV and several nephews and nieces.

 The family will receive friends at Dorsey Funeral Home 701 South Pike St., Shinnston, WV. 26431 for a Memorial Service on Monday April 23, 2018 from 3:00pm-7:00pm time of service with Reverend Aaron Thomas officiating.
