He was a devoted husband and father, a cherished family member and friend.  He was known for his wisdom and his pranks, a very intelligent man. He enjoyed hunting and fishing and telling jokes. He took immense pride in guiding, supporting, and loving his children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren, whom he called “hey babe.”  He graduated from Lumberport High School.  Fred proudly served his country in the United States Marine Corp.  He married his loving wife, Linda, on September 21, 1968.  He worked for Powhatan Point Ohio followed by Glory Coal Company as a coal miner.

He is survived by his wife, Linda Margaret (McCourt) Luchuck; one son, Freddie Luchuck and wife Tessa of Lumberport; one daughter, Melissa Martin of Wallace; three granddaughters:  Clarissa Martin of Clarksburg, Cierra Price of Bridgeport and Olivia Luchuck of Lumberport; two great-granddaughters:  Kenlee Adkins and Hadley Fenton as well as several nieces and nephews.
