Christine (Capozzi) McCauley

Christine McCauley, 93, of Clarksburg, passed away on September 20, 2024 at United Hospital Center.  She was born in Monongah on August 10, 1931 to the late Sam and Mary Capozzi.

She had worked at Shinn Plaza laundromat and did various jobs and was a member of St. John’s Evangelical Lutheran Church in Bridgeport. 

She is survived by her niece, Brenda Higginbotham and her husband Ray of Clarksburg.

In addition to her parents, Christine is preceded in death by her husband, Dhring McCauley, Jr.; three brothers:  Tony, George and Carmen Capozzi and three sisters:  Mary Cline, Virginia Martin and Angelina Capozzi.

Family and friends will be received at Dorsey Funeral Home on Tuesday, September 24, 2024 from 4:00pm – 8:00pm and on Wednesday, September 25, 2024 from 10:00am until time of service 12:00pm with Reverend James Oester officiating.  Interment to follow to West Virginia National Cemetery.
