Charlotte Ann (Jones) Snyder

Charlotte Ann Snyder, 85, of Shinnston, passed away on Tuesday, February 22, 2022 at her residence.  She was born in Robey, WV on March 28, 1936, daughter of the late Arzie Roy and Madge Bashbee McIntire Jones. 

Charlotte was a homemaker. She loved to travel with her sister Patty, crochet, quilt and watch soap operas.

Charlotte is survived by one daughter, Mary Sue Riffle of Shinnston, two sons:  Paul Bernard Snyder of Shinnston, and Troy Lee Snyder and wife Pam of Shinnston; four grandsons:  Shane Snyder and wife Amanda of Deltona, FL, Greg Snyder, Sr. and companion Jenna of Shinnston, Paul Snyder, Jr. and companion Missy of Shinnston, and James Riffle and wife Ashley of Lumberport; three granddaughters:  Erica Correro and companion Jeff of Mannington, Paula Guerrero and husband Claudio of La Feria, TX and April Long of Wadena, MN; 27 great grandchildren and 7 great great grandchildren; two sisters in law:  Patty Jones of Warren, OH and Patricia Snyder of Mt. Rainer, MD and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, Charlotte is preceded in death by her husband, Troy Lee Snyder, Sr., two brothers: Billy and David Jones; five sisters: Wanda Rodgers, Shirley McCroby, Patty Jean Gaskill, Peggy Housel and Ethel Kay Flowers.

Family and friends will be received at Dorsey Funeral Home, 701 S. Pike St., Shinnston, on Monday, February 28, 2022 from 2:00pm until the time of the funeral services at 6:00PM, with Pastor Arlie Parrish officiating. Inurnment will be held at the West Virginia National Cemetery.
