Bonna Deen (Bonnell) Newbrough

Bonna Deen Newbrough, 68 of Lumberport, WV passed away on Thursday, June 18, 2020 at her residence with her family surrounding her. Bonna was born on June 14, 1952 in Clarksburg, WV the daughter of the late Wilbur Eugene and Betty Jo Miller Bonnell.  She was preceded in death by one daughter Mary Jo Sandy and one brother Jason Bonnell.  Bonna is survived by her husband Richard Newbrough, one son Alfred Sandy and wife Connie of Fairmont, one brother Ronnie Bonnell and wife Janise of Clarksburg, one sister Connie Fox and husband Monty of Lumberport, one nephew Jason Miller wife Katie and son little J of Lumberport, three granddaughters Mardeana Davis and husband Daniel, Lashanda Sandy and T.J. Sandy, a niece Adrienne Miller, husband Matt, daughter Macey and son Caleb of Shinnston.

Bonna enjoyed being a housewife, solving word puzzles, eating chinese food and spending time with her sisters dog Lucky. She was a faithful member of the House of Faith. The family wishes to express a special thank you to her care giver Janise Beverly and to the Amedisys Hospice team.

Family will receive friends at Dorsey Funeral Home 701 South Pike Street, Shinnston, WV on Saturday, June 20, 2020 from 11 AM -2 PM with Pastor Delores White Officiating. Proper distancing and face masks will be required. Interment will be held at Lumberport Lions Club Cemetery. Dorsey Funeral Home is honored to be serving the Newbrough family.
