Obituary

Arthur “Art” Frasier, 74, of Worthington, WV passed away on Monday, August 9, 2021 at United Hospital Center in Bridgeport, WV.  He was born on July 11, 1947 in Phillipsburg, NJ.  The son of the late Arthur William Frasier and Annie Elizabeth (Cowley) Frasier.

In addition to his parents, Art was also preceded in death by his siblings:  Elizabeth DeHart and Deborah Schmalzride.

Art is survived by his wife, Candi (Stecker) Frasier of Worthington, WV. One son, Arthur “Butch” Frasier, Jr and wife Adrienne of Longs, SC.  One daughter, Jamie Pyatt and husband Scott of Glendon, PA.  Grandchildren: Dylan Coates, Haylee Frasier, Travis Frasier and Corvan Ward (Daniel).  Great grandchildren:  Dragen Bridges, Everleigh and Journee Boyd and Kyle Ward. Five sisters:  Dolores Krum, Virginia Ingle, Mary Fritz, Lorraine Opdyke and Christine Frasier.  Two brothers: Albert Frasier and Michael Frasier.

Art was an active member of TLC Ministries and loved his church family.  He loved carousels and wanted to ride at every opportunity.  He worked 17 years for Ingersoll Rand.

Cremation services have been provided by Dorsey Funeral Home, 701 S. Pike St., Shinnston, WV per Art’s wishes. 

A Celebration of Life to honor Art will be held on Wednesday, August 11, 2021 at 4pm at the TLC Ministries in Four States with Pastor Sabrina Haught officiating.
