Alice Adair Moore, 77, of Lumberport, passed away at her residence on September 26, 2022. She was born in Clarksburg on February 2, 1945 to the late Leonard Shierbert Broadstone and Virginia Ellen (Howell) Broadstone.
She worked for McDonalds in the early 80s, loved to play bingo and playing with her grandchildren.
Alice is survived by two daughters: Louella Scofield and husband Thomas of Warren, OH and Patricia Moore of Lumberport; one son, Walter Moore of Lumberport; six grandsons: Danny, Jimmy, Jesse James, Thomas Jr., Brian and Kirk; nine granddaughters: Jessie, Jade, Josie, Aleeha, Ashley, Jamye, Brooklyn, Allison and Iszabella; five sisters: Sharon McGraw-Stawicki and husband of Cleveland, OH, Linda Cano of Oklahoma, Patricia Murphy of Meadowbrook, Pam Fields of Cleveland, OH and Tammy Watson of Clarksburg and one brother, Thomas Randall Broadstone of Clarksburg.
In addition to her parents, Alice is preceded in death by her husband, James Donald Moore, Sr., one son, James Donald Moore, Jr., one daughter, Elizabeth Joann Morris; seven brothers: Leonard, Roger, Jimmy, Gary, Steven, Robert and Ronnie Broadstone; four sisters: Shirley Floyd, Sheila Davis, Rose Swiger and Dorthy Bragg.
In keeping with Alice’s wishes, she will be cremated with no services.
