Alan Dale Lindsey

Alan Dale Lindsey, 67, of Lumberport, passed away on July 18, 2025 at United Hospital Center.  He was born in Clarksburg on June 12, 1958 to the late Jack Dale Lindsey and Mary Katherine Zvonaric.

Alan worked for Tate Fruit Market as a truck driver.  He enjoyed being outdoors just walking or mowing grass.

He is survived by his wife, Annamaria (Neely) Lindsey of Lumberport; one son, Patrick Lindsey; one daughter, Heather Lindsey; three sisters:  Linda Haught and husband Larry of Stonewood, Patricia Matheny and husband Dave of Salem and Kathy Maze and husband Harold of Four States; one brother, David Wayne Lindsey of Shinnston; six grandchildren; four great grandchildren; his previous wife, Kim (Pumphrey) Hart as well as several nieces, nephews and cousins.

Family and friends will be received at Dorsey Funeral Home, 701 S. Pike St., Shinnston on Thursday, July 24, 2025 from 11:00AM until 1:00PM, time of service, with Minister Melvin Lindsey officiating. 

In keeping with Alan’s wishes, cremation services will be provided.
