Ronald "Ronnie" Lee Miller Sr.

Ronald "Ronnie" Lee Miller Sr. (76) of Clarksburg, WV passed away on August 22, 2018 at his residence surrounded by his family. Ronnie was born on July 8, 1942 in Salem, WV the son of the late Creed Miller Jr. and Pauline (Starkey) Miller.

Ronnie worked at the glass factory in Weston, WV, for 44 years. He was married on October 05, 1968 to the love of his life. He was an outdoor lover that enjoyed to go hunting and fishing with his children and grandchildren and spending time with his family. Ronnie was the most amazing husband, father, brother, papaw, uncle and cousin, Ronnie loved to tell jokes and could always make you laugh. He didn’t like to wait for anything and was a go getter. He adored his wife and family and had a heart of gold.

In addition to his parents Ronnie was preceded in death by his brother Darrell Miller.

Those left behind to cherish his memory include his beloved wife of 50 years Betty Miller, his only son Ronald Miller Jr and wife Michelle of OH, two daughters Ronda Miller of Clarksburg, WV, Kimberly Miller and companion Mark Squires of Salem, WV, one sister Brenda Miller Burgess of Clarksburg, WV, his in-laws: Nancy Gay of Clarksburg, WV, Brenda Cook and husband Larry of Oceana, WV, Arthur Spencer and wife Tamiko of HI, Jim Andrew and wife Lucille of FL,  his grandchildren: Brittany Delaney and husband Ray of Clarksburg, WV, Brandy Miller of Clarksburg, WV, Mariah Hill and fiancé Tim Bland of Salem, WV, Logan Mikes and companion Sarah Tracey of Sardis, WV, Lindsey Mikes and fiancé Robert Carroll of Clarksburg, WV, Jeremy Skinner of Clarksburg, WV,  Kyle Ferguson, Kaylee Ferguson, and McKenzie Ferguson all of OH, great-grandchildren: Mathew, Landen, Jordan, Allee, Isabella, Andrew, Dominic, Jocelynn, Wyatt, Riley, He also leaves behind several nieces and nephews and his adored dog Stimey.  Gone but never forgotten. The toughest man we all knew and loved. He will forever be in our hearts.

 The family will receive friends at Dorsey Funeral Home, 701 South Pike St., Shinnston, WV 26431, on Sunday, August 26, 2018 from 2:00pm - 8:00pm. Funeral Service will be held Monday August 27, 2018 at Dorsey Funeral Home at 11:00am with Pastor Jon Hayes officiating. Entombment will follow at Shinnston Memorial Mausoleum, Shinnston, WV. Dorsey Funeral Home is honored to assist the Miller Family at this time.
