Paul David Pillo

Paul David Pillo passed on to his Heavenly Father on April 29, 2019, at the Tygart Center in Fairmont, West Virginia.

Paul was born September 24, 1959, in Clarksburg, the son of Bardine and Irene June (Jackson) Pillo, both of whom preceded him in death.

He is survived by his wife of more than 27 years, Barbara (Spelsberg) Pillo; one son, Paul David Pillo, Jr. of Lost Creek; two daughters, Crystal Pillo of Bridgeport and Mary Pillo of Shinnston; three brothers, John Pillo and his wife, Priscilla of Gulfport, MS, Tony Pillo of Shinnston and Jim Pillo and his wife, Julianna also of Shinnston; one sister, Debbie Fluharty and her husband, Larry of Fairmont; one grandson, Timothy J. Paul Boyce of Bridgeport; two granddaughters, MaryEllen and Kateri Boyce, both of Bridgeport; and several nieces and nephews.

Paul was a graduate of Shinnston High School and attended Webster College where he received an Associates Degree in Business.  He also served as a US Marine.  Paul loved to go fishing and hunting.  He loved to watch football, ride four wheelers and go ramp picking.  Paul especially loved spending time with his children and grandchildren.

The family will receive friends at Dorsey Funeral Home, 701 South Pike Street; Shinnston, WV 26431, on Friday, May 3, 2019 from 11:00AM until the time of Service at 1:00PM with Pastor Steve Henry officiating.  Per Paul’s request, cremation services will follow provided by Dorsey Funeral Home.  In lieu of flowers, the family requests that monetary donations be made to his Funeral Care Fund on his memorial page in Paul’s memory.
