Paul Mackey Obituary

Paul R Mackey, 63 of Worthington passed away on Monday December 31, 2018 at United Hospital Center. He was born July 23, 1955 in Clarksburg, son of the Scott and Edith Leiving Mackey. Paul graduated from Shinnston High School. He retired as a welder. He enjoyed camping, and tinkering in the garage fixing things. He is survived by his daughter, Shannon Mackey and husband Andre Cosby, Grafton; two grandsons, Angel Cosby and Damon Cosby; four brothers, Charles Mackey and Donna, Warren, OH; Dennis Mackey, Shinnston, Michael Mackey and Brenda, Four States, John Mackey, Shinnston; one sister, Patricia Bell, Shinnston; several nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Donna Joyce Wright Mackey in 2017; three brothers, Scotty Mackey, Edgar Mackey and Thomas Mackey; one sister, Loretta Hall. The family will receive friends at Dorsey Funeral Home, 701 South Pike St., Shinnston, WV 26431, on Friday, January 4, 2019 from 11:00 AM until time of funeral service at 2:00 pm with Pastor Arlie Parrish officiating Interment will follow at Shinns Run Baptist Church Cemetery.
