Orace "Robbie" Arnold Robinson Jr.

Orace “Robbie” Arnold Robinson Jr. (71) of Lumberport, WV, passed away on June 11, 2018 at Clarksburg Nursing and Rehab Facility in Clarksburg, WV.  He was born on October 29, 1946 in Clarksburg, WV the son of the late Orace (Sr.) and Opal Eva (Pitts) Robinson.

Robbie was a devout Christian witnessing to whomever he met, even to Santa Clause at Christmas parties. Robbie enjoyed singing hymns with his sister Beverly and spending time with his family.

In addition to his parents Robbie was preceded in death by two sisters and brother-in-laws; Mary Lee and Homer Valentine and Ella Rhea and Russell Varca, his paternal grandparents Homer C. and Myrtle Robinson and maternal grandparents Elias and Ella Pitts.   

Those he has left behind to cherish his memory include his sister Beverly Ruth Wilson of Clarksburg, WV, five nieces: Shelia Batson of Clarksburg, WV, Ladonna Moyers and husband Greg of Martinsburg, WV, Debbie White and husband Dave of Salem, VA, Pam McDonald and husband Nick of Clarksburg, WV and Judy Murray of Lumberport, WV, five nephews: Arthur “Mickey” Valentine and wife Libby of Clarksburg, WV, Okey Wilson and wife Hannah of NC, Nickie Varca and  wife Carolyn of AZ, Rusty Varca and wife Margo of AZ, and Tony Varca and wife Rebecca of NJ.

The family would like to give special thanks to the staff at the Clarksburg Nursing & Rehab Facility for the loving care they gave to Robbie and to sweet Miss Taylor for her love, kindness, and the time she spent with Robbie.

 The family will receive friends at Dorsey Funeral Home, 701 South Pike St., Shinnston, WV 26431, on Saturday, June 16, 2018 from 11:00am - 1:00pm until time of funeral service at 1:00pm with Reverend Johnie Cole officiating.

Interment will be at Shinnston Memorial Cemetery, Shinnston, WV.
