Harry Sanford Ferrell, Sr.

Harry Sanford Ferrell, Sr., age 70, of Lumberport, passed away at his home on August 2, 2019.  He was born on April 17, 1949, in Fairmont, the son of the late Bill Sanford and Mary Ellen (Skinner) Ferrell.

In addition to his parents, Harry was preceded in death by his wife, Bonnie Loucinda (Dean) Ferrell, who passed away in January 2017.

After high school, Harry went on to serve his country in the United States Marine Corp.  He worked for the West Virginia State Road and then spent 37 years as a contracted truck driver for the Clarksburg Postal Service.

Harry enjoyed being outdoors.  He loved hunting, fishing and building things.  He was a hard-working man and will be missed by many.

Those left behind to cherish Harry’s memory include his two sons, Harry Ferrell, Jr. and his companion, Lisa Morrison of Gypsy and Gary Ferrell of Lumberport; four daughters, Tammy Rohrbough and her husband, Jerry of Weston, Cindy Hughes and her husband, David, Pamela Ramsey and her husband, George III and Shelby Powers and her husband, Larry all of Clarksburg; 18 grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; and his five sisters, Frances Lackie of Ferndale, MI, Margaret Barron of Palm Coast, FL, Patsy Sinn of Graysville, TN, Rosemary Hill of Kenner, LA, Sandra Pietrzak and his brother Tim Ferrell, both of Clifford, MI.

Per Harry’s request cremation services were provided.  There are no services scheduled at this time.
