Frances Marie (Henigin) King

Frances Marie (Henigin) King (71) of Bridgeport, WV passed away on July 10, 2018 at United Hospital Center in Bridgeport, WV. Frances was born on April 21, 1947 in Point Marion, PA the daughter of the late Leonard J. Henigin Sr. and Cora Belle (Rankin) Henigin.

On April 16, 1970 she married Harold David King who passed away in 1998. Frances was a homemaker, a devoted and loving wife, mother and grandmother. She enjoyed tending to her flower and vegetable gardens and spending time with her family especially her grandchildren. She was a member of St. Ann Catholic Church in Shinnston, WV.

In addition to her husband and parents she was preceded in death by three brothers: Leonard Henigin Jr., Walter Henigin, Howard Henigin and one sister Elaine Henigin.

Those Frances leaves behind to cherish her memory are her two daughters, Shelley Menendez and husband Michael of Shinnston, WV Crystal Risley and husband Chris of Mays Landing, NJ., her grandchildren Sydni & Sierra Menendez, Christopher & Mason Risley, two sisters Delores Jean Voithofer of Smithfield, PA, Rita Miller of Bridgeton, NJ., three brothers Charles Henigin of Bridgeton, NJ., George Henigin and wife Priscilla of Point Marion, PA., Fred Henigin and companion Patricia of Shinnston, WV., one sister-in-law Ruthann Henigin of Smithfield, PA, several nieces and nephews and her very special caregiver Nikki Cottrill.

The family will receive friends at Dorsey Funeral Home, 701 South Pike St., Shinnston, WV 26431, on Friday, July 13, 2018 from 4:00pm - 8:00pm The Holy Rosary will be recited on Friday at 7:30pm. A Liturgy of a Catholic Burial will be held Saturday July 14, 2018 at Dorsey Funeral Home at 10:00am with Reverend Father Akila Rodrigo T.O.R. and Reverend Father Jude Perera T.O.R. officiating Interment will follow at Shinnston Memorial Cemetery, Shinnston, WV.
