Donald Jess Minear

Donald Jess Minear, 63, of Worthington, WV passed away at Mon Health Medical Center in Morgantown on Thursday, May 2, 2019 surrounded by his family whom he adored.

Donald was born on September 19, 1955 in Clarksburg, the son of the late James and Peggy Louise (West) Ayers Minear.

He is survived by his wife, Patricia (Sendling) Minear; one son, Jesse James Minear of Mannington; one daughter, Amy Minear of Florida; one step-son, Rickie Sendling of Four States; three step-daughters, Misty Sendling & Heaven Sipe, both of Four States and Savannah Sendling of Shinnston; one sister, Pamela Wright of Florida; and 11 grandchildren whom he loved with his entire heart and soul.

In addition to his parents, Donald was preceded in death by his first wife, Jayne Beth Minear.

Donald was a graduate of Bridgeport High School and spent the majority of his life as a construction worker.  He loved hunting and fishing and just being outdoors.

Per Donald’s request cremation services were provided by Dorsey Funeral Home and Crematory.  A Celebration of Life Service will be announced at a later date.
