David Lee Cottrill

David Lee Cottrill (36) of Lumberport, WV passed away suddenly on January 11, 2018 at the family home. He was born in Akron, OH on July 11, 1981 the son of David Leon (deceased) and Delores “Dee” Greathouse Cottrill.

David worked as a Heavy Equipment Operator in the construction industry.

He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and spending time with his family.

David was preceded in death by his father David Leon Cottrill in 2008.

Those left behind to cherish his memory are his mother Delores “Dee” Cottrill, his son David Leon Cottrill, his daughter Aurora McAtee all of Lumberport, WV, one sister Brandy Cottrill, two brothers Paul Fredrick and John Greathouse  all of Akron, OH, uncles Robert Cottrill of Lumberport, WV and J.R. Cottrill of Fairmont, WV.

The family will receive friends at Dorsey Funeral Home 701 South Pike St., Shinnston, WV. 26431 on Friday January 19, 2018 from 11:00am-1:00pm time of service with Pastor Delores White officiating.

Interment will be at the Cottrill Family Cemetery.
