Brittney May Horner

Brittney May Horner, (28) of Clarksburg passed away on May 19, 2019 in Huntington, WV. Brittney was born on February 22, 1991, the daughter of the Frank Everett Horner, Jr. and Donna May Hughes.

Brittney was born in Clarksburg and was kind hearted to everyone.  She was a Free-Spirited, Country Girl who loved to ride four wheelers, listening to music and spending time with her family.  Brittney was the mother of two handsome boys and one beautiful daughter.  Her children were her world and she loved them deeply.

Brittney was preceded in death by her grandfather, Frank Horner; one aunt, Starlynn Horner; and one cousin, Michael Mathena.

Those left behind to cherish Brittney’s memory include her two sons, Iziah and Izick Greaver of Glenn Falls; one daughter, Whitney May Greaver of Glenn Falls; three brothers, James Finch, Jr. and his wife, Miranda of Hepzibah, Arthur Finch of Canton, OH and Frank E. Richard Horner of Clarksburg; two sisters, Barbara Jean Horner and her companion, CJ Booker and Joyce Lynn Horner and her companion, Noah Morris all of Clarksburg; paternal grandmother, Barbara Lynn Horner; maternal grandmother, Dorothy Lorkowsk; one uncle, Doy Richard Horner and his wife, Angela of Huntington; four aunts, Darlene Buchanan and her husband, Robbie of Uniontown, OH, Dolly Hughes and her companion, Gary Finch of Clarksburg, Diane Hughes of St. Paul, MN and Dusty Hughes of Akron, OH; two cousins, Joey Radabaugh of Clarksburg and Virginia Redina of Jane Lew; and several other cousins, nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends at Dorsey Funeral Home, 701 South Pike St., Shinnston, WV 26431, on Sunday, May 26, 2019 from 2:00pm until the time of the funeral service at 6:00pm with Pastor Bryant Bailey officiating.  A Graveside Service will be held at Floral Hills Memorial Gardens, 457 Zachs Run Rd., Mt. Clare, WV 26408, on Tuesday, May 28, 2019 at 11:00am with Pastor Bryant Bailey officiating. Interment will follow at Floral Hills Memorial Gardens.
