Beverly Ann (Orr) Paushel

Beverly Ann (Orr) Paushel, age 83, of Shinnston, passed away on Sunday, August 4, 2019, at her home with her sons by her side after an eight month battle with Pancreatic Cancer.   She was born August 17, 1935, in Oak Point, WV the daughter of the late Byrl and Gwen (Bryner) Orr.

Beverly was a 1953 graduate of Shinnston High School.  On November 15, 1953 she married Joe Frank Paushel in Oakland Maryland, who preceded her in death on November 20, 2006.

Those left behind to cherish Beverly’s memory are her two sons, Joseph Paushel and his wife, Lisa of Clarksburg, Tim Paushel and his wife, Mary of Adamsville; six grandchildren, Sarah Paushel of Clarksburg, Joseph Paushel of Lexington, KY, Kelsea Paushel of Clarksburg, Adam Paushel also of Clarksburg, Mariah Paushel and Megan Paushel both of Adamsville; and two great-grandchildren, Scarlett Gregory of Clarksburg and Blake Sisler of Adamsville

Beverly was a loving daughter, wife, mother and grandmother.  She was a homemaker and self-taught Artist, specializing in oil and watercolor painting nature and landscapes.  She was a member of “Dabblers” paint group of Shinnston for many years.  She was also a member of the Shinnston Historical Society and volunteered at the Lowe Public Library in the Genealogy Department.  Her hobbies included painting, history, genealogy, crocheting, quilting, gardening and bird watching.  Beverly was a Methodist by faith.

The family would like to thank the West Virginia Oncology Department and WVU Hospice for their excellent care.

Cremation services will take place at Beverly’s request.  No services are scheduled at this time
